Woman found dead in Temple Hills apartment

A woman was found dead inside a Temple Hills apartment Wednesday afternoon, and Prince George’s County police are investigating the incident as “suspicious,” authorities said.

Police were first called about the case just after 2:30 p.m., said Sgt. Sonya Rorls, a Prince George’s police spokeswoman. She said officers went to an apartment in the 4000 block of 28th Avenue and found a woman dead inside.

Rorls said she did not know how the woman died or if she had any obvious wounds. Updates will be provided as they become available.
