A woman on a bicycle was fatally injured Friday night in the Bowie area after a collision with an automobile, the Maryland State Police said.

The incident occurred in Prince George’s County about 9 p.m. on Route 301 near Sylvan Drive, the police said. They said it appeared that the bicyclist drifted into the path of the car before the collision.
