Woodbridge man charged with sexually assaulting two young girls

A Virginia man has been charged with multiple counts of abuse, including rape, after allegedly sexually assaulting two young girls, Prince William County police said.

Andres Avelino Reyes-Granados, 30, of Woodbridge, allegedly assaulted the two girls, 7 and 9 years old, on multiple occasions in September.

Authorities were notified of the alleged assaults this past weekend after the girls confided in a neighbor, police said.

According to police, Reyes-Granados was known to the girls and lived at the girls’ home in the 4200 block of Glendale Road in Woodbridge.

Police did not specify the relationship of the two girls or how they knew Reyes-Granados.

Reyes-Granados was arrested on Monday and has been charged with three counts of rape, three counts of forcible sodomy and four counts of aggravated sexual battery. He is being held without bond, police said.
