“It appears that the bridge fell down a while back. Now there are just boards and chains blocking kids from using the broken equipment,” the griper wrote. “It looks very ugly for a playground and makes the equipment less usable than it should be.”
D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation say this is the first time the agency has heard of this complaint. The department plans to get in touch with the maintenance division that oversees the Harrison Playground.
The parks department is hopeful it will receive a response soon. We will keep you posted.
