Anthony Davis wearing his Redskins hat in the Olympic village

But there are skeptics, not surprisingly.

You all just don't get it,” one commenter wrote. “While many fans wear hats and caps from their favorite teams, this has changed among recent generations. Guys wear caps now from all different franchises simply for liking the way that they look. Its become an important part of an outfit doesn’t mean he likes the redskins.”

And while I agree with this premise and find that underlying point inarguable, dangit all, Anthony Davis keeps wearing that hat. We’re now up to four recent photos of him in the identical Redskins hat. He must really, really like the way this one looks.

Above, it’s Davis in the Olympic Village with U.S. boxer Marcus Browne. Below, it’s Davis posing with famous U.S. hurdler Lolo Jones.
