“I just wanted to go out there and have some fun and play hard,” he said. “If I went 0-for-4, I went 0-for-4. It really didn’t matter to me. I’m still gonna go home and have fun and spend time with my family, keep my chin up and hang with it.”
Apparently, while going home and spending time with his family, he also spent some time getting his family members’ names tattooed on his wrist. Brother Bryan, drafted by the Nats this spring, posted these images on his Twitter account late Tuesday. He later deleted the tweets but not the images, so here they are. The picture in the chair certainly appears to be Bryce, in the process of getting some wrist tattoos to honor his parents.
