Careful what lyrics you tweet, NCAA athletes

I don’t say this lightly: Maryland defensive lineman A.J. Francis is currently the best tweeting D.C.-area athlete for overall entertainment value. You might remember him from previous episodes such as his “Fear The Turtle” women’s lacrosse anthem. Follow him here.

The volume of his Twitter chatter can sometimes be immense, but if you stick through it all you might be rewarded with a three-tweet gem like this one. At least we know the University of Maryland compliance folks are on their game.

Yesterday i tweeted the Rick Ross lyric “Feels like we gettin money for the wrong things..” and 2 hours later i got an email from Complianceless than a minute ago via TweetDeck Favorite Retweet ReplyA.J. Francis
