D.C. United’s season preview video isn’t bad

Someone over at RFK marketing headquarters switched out 5-Hour Energy for the decaf coffee without telling anyone. I mean, I can’t walk a block away from my hip new D.C. apartment without seeing Dax McCarty’s image on a bus shelter. Every other bus that passes me has something or other about Olsen’s Army on the side. The club has taken over a billboard in Adams Morgan, as seen below. The team’s senior VP of marketing and communications is writing missives on “moving the needle,” explaining how “by leveraging media and corporate partners, United set in motion a plan for a preseason push of unprecedented proportions to promote the club and the 2011 MLS season ahead.”

And then there’s this video. It’s pretty cool.
