That weird Tuesday-at-midnight hazy psychedelic dream that was the Wizards win in Portland produced several compelling moments. Here are a few of them.

An Unconscious Nick Young

Above please see all 12 of the field goals Nick Young made en route to 35 points.

“That’s unbelievable, that guy,” the disgusted Portland color guy says after one of Young’s ridiculous three-pointers.

“I’m the best three-point shooter in the world,” Young said last week.

Young is averaging 21.8 points this month, according to Wizards PR, which would be the highest monthly average of his career. The team is now off to his hometown of L.A., where he has averaged 15.0 points in his career, shooting better than 54 percent from the field.

A Ridiculous John Wall Block

John Wall’s highlights are usually on the offensive end, but this block of a fast-breaking Nicolas Batum was fairly sensational.

JaVale McGee and Trevor Booker were on the wrong end of this Batum highlight. That led to this tweet from Booker:

I think the chinstrap brothers made sportcenter tonight for the wrong reason lol

Funny in a win.

“Pirate style pants,” is how the team’s do-everything media guy, Jumoke Davis, described them.
