In the same week that the Caps revealed a possible shakeup to their radio broadcasts, the Redskins will do the opposite. The Redskins Radio Broadcast Network will announce on Friday that its longstanding broadcasting team of Larry Michael, Sonny Jurgensen and Sam Huff will return intact for the 2011 season.
Huff and Jurgensen have been paired in the booth since 1981, making this their 31st campaign together.
“Former Redskin quarterback Sonny Jurgensen has been added to radio station WMAL’s Redskin broadcast team, joining Frank Herzog and Sam Huff for the games and Johnny Holliday for the pregame show,” The Post reported, when Jurgensen first joined the broadcast team. “He will also interview players after the games.”

Michael replaced Herzog prior to the 2004 season, meaning this will be the eighth straight season together in the booth for the current trio. Jurgensen will be 77 in August, while Huff will turn 77 in October.
