With a top Nationals executive describing the Miller Lite Scoreboard Walk and its Union Square eateries as “the iconic, defining element of Nationals Park,” it’s no surprise that the team is now attempting to leverage that element into ticket sales.

Longtime Reader Tom, a former Nats season ticket holder, sent me an e-mailed offer he received from the Nats ticket office this week, unveiling three new offers. From the e-mail:

Buy 2, Get 2 — Purchase 2 Full Season tickets in the LF/RF Baseline Reserved ($40 per seat), LF/RF Corner ($30 per seat) or RF Mezzanine ($25 per seat) and receive 2 Full Season tickets FREE, slashing your per-seat costs literally in half.

Shake Shack Pack — Purchase a Full Season ticket in the Scoreboard Pavilion ($20 per seat) and receive a free all-inclusive package that features a meal voucher for every single game to be used at Shake Shack, Blue Smoke, El Verano Taqueria or Box Frites, as well as a parking pass. This amounts to a $37 per-game value for a $20 per-game price.

Free 2011 Tickets — With a 25% deposit on any Full Season ticket package for the 2012 season, you’ll receive free tickets for the remainder of the 2011 season, starting with our next homestand on August 16.
