Pops Mensah-Bonsu in British Subway ads

And now here he is, all grown up and working as a spokesperson for Subway in England.

It’s an Olympic-related sponsorship deal, also featuring boxer Anthony Ogogo, pole vaulter Holly Bleasdale and gymnast Louis Smith, according to The Drum, which suggests that Pops will eventually star in a 30-second television ad.

“We are delighted to be working with four such inspirational UK athletes who are all true fans of the Subway brand,” Subway marketing exec Manaaz Akhtar told The Drum.

Pops and RGIII, man. Corporate brothers. Just need a statue of Pops built out of veggie patties or something.
