Small student crowd at Maryland-Miami game


New year, new coach, new opponent, similar crowd. Mark Turgeon suggested that Tuesday night’s win over Miami was among the Terps’ best of the season, but there weren’t many students there to see it. “I am officially calling out the Maryland students. That was a pitiful performance tonight,” Brendan Darr wrote.

“It doesn’t count as three wins, but man it sure feels like it tonight,” Turgeon said, which would have made the average attendance even worse.
