Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon’s effort to take over the world takes another stop this month, with their debut as animated police officers in an upcoming episode “of Disney XD’s Emmy-nominated animated comedy series Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil,” according to a press release. More:

The show is centered on the adventures of Kick Buttowski, an extraordinary kid who is determined to become the world’s greatest daredevil. Small in stature but big in heart, he takes on every stunt with unwavering enthusiasm. Aided by his loyal sidekick, Gunther, Kick rebels against the mundane and knows that when life throws him an obstacle, his only choice is to jump it.

Kornheiser and Wilbon, co-hosts of ESPN’s popular weekday Pardon the Interruption, will guest star in the episode entitled “Trash Talk” on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m., ET on Disney XD. When Kick is caught littering by Officer Irwin (Kornheiser) and Officer Mack (Wilbon), he is assigned highway clean-up duty, but finds keeping a stretch of highway litter free more difficult than he thought when up against Chuck Glarman, a pesky rival who is determined to have the cleanest stretch.

That’s pretty interesting. I mean, that’s not something I necessarily would have imagined when I started reading The Post in 1998. Guess I have a weak imagination.
