Original Post:

There are big delays for VRE riders this morning. A tractor trailer hit a railroad bridge between Woodbridge and Lorton, according to the VRE. Trains were held while the bridge was inspected, and now trains are moving forward at restricted speeds. Train 306 is 30 minutes late and train 308 is 15 minutes late.

These delays will only increase as the morning continues. The Metro Option is open for VRE riders, so just show your VRE ticket for Metro access.
