Blue and Yellow Line delays cleared

7:13 A.M. Update:

Things are back to normal on the Blue and Yllow Lines, according to Metro. The delays have been cleared.

6:52 A.M. Update:

Trains are no longer single-tracking on the Blue and Yellow Line. The disabled track equipment near King Street is on the move again. Delays remain in both directions.

6:45 A.M. Update:

Trains are single-tracking again on the Blue and Yellow lines, this time due to disabled track equipment near King Street. Trains are sharing the track between Braddock Road and Eisenhower Avenue. Delays in both directions.

6:23 A.M. Update:

The piece of track equipment is on the move, so trains are no longer sharing the same track. Residual delays should hang around until about 6:35 a.m., according to Metro.

6:05 A.M. Update:

The delays are due to a disabled piece of track equipment, according to Metro.

There are delays on the Blue and Yellow Lines in both directions due to a train malfunction outside of Crystal City. Trains are sharing the same track between the Pentagon City and National Airport stations.
