Eastbound I-66 is backed up at the Beltway and again at the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge.
8:20 A.M. Update:
An accident on 16th and Oak streets NW is going to cause delays around that intersection.
Traffic signals are reportedly flashing at New Mexico and Nebraska avenues NW. Approach that intersection with caution.
8:10 A.M. Update:
An accident on southbound I-295 at Pennsylvania Avenue SE could cause big delays for traffic approaching that area.
Avoid the area around the 5000 block of 13th Street NW. The D.C. Fire Department is responding to something on that block and the street is closed.
Watch out for delays stemming from a disabled vehicle on 23rd Street and Southern Avenue SE.
7:50 A.M. Update:
Two northbound lanes have reopened in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue NW, according to the District Department of Transportation. All northbound lanes were temporarily blocked due to police activity just south of Dupont Circle.
7:45 A.M. Update:
The accident on I-395 North at Washington Boulevard has been cleared from the shoulder.
An accident on I-395 North at Maine Avenue in Southwest Washington could slow traffic around that area.
A disabled vehicle on South Capitol and I (Eye) streets in Southeast Washington could cause similar delays there.
7:25 A.M. Update:
The accident on I-395 North is now only blocking the left shoulder at Washington Boulevard. The left lane has reopened.
7:10 A.M. Update:
All northbound lanes are now closed in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue NW due to police activity, according to the District Department of Transportation.

6:50 A.M. Update:
An accident on I-95 North in Occoquan is blocking the right shoulder.
There appears to be some police activity on I-395 North at the Pentagon, causing delays in the left lane. Traffic is slow on I-395 North around this spot and on through to the 14th Street Bridge.
6:30 A.M. Update:
I-95 North is backed up approaching the Franconia Springfield Parkway.
6:15 A.M. Update:
The disabled vehicle on I-95’s reversible lanes has been cleared.
