Could pilots be forgetting how to fly? Joan Lowy with the Associated Press has an interesting story about how pilots seem to be ceding more and more responsibility to automated systems, causing pilots to have trouble manually flying planes. Obviously, we have a question mark in the headline of this post, so we aren’t sure about the extent of this problem. It’s still something important for airlines to think about given how reliant flying is on automated systems.
