8:30 A.M. Update:
Delays continue on I-395 North (at Duke Street) and I-66 East (approaching the Beltway).
An accident on westbound I-66 at George Mason Drive is blocking the left lane and left shoulder.
8:15 A.M. Update:
The disabled vehicle on eastbound I-66 has been cleared from the shoulder before the Beltway. But there are still delays in this area, of course.
An accident at 34th Street and Massachusetts Avenue in Northwest Washington could cause traffic problems there.
7:50 A.M. Update:
There are heavy delays on eastbound I-66 at the Beltway. A disabled vehicle is on the left shoulder shortly before the Beltway, which isn’t helping things, but expect congestion there.
7:35 A.M. Update:
Delays persist for drivers on I-395 North and I-66 East.
The Beltway is pretty packed in both directions around the American Legion Bridge. Expect some congestion if you’re heading out now.
7:15 A.M. Update:
The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at New Hampshire Road has been cleared.
7 A.M. Update:
An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at New Hampshire Road could cause delays there.
The inner loop is pretty congested leading to Gallows Road right now.
6:40 A.M. Update:
The usual morning delays have popped up on northbound I-395 (at Duke Street) and eastbound I-66 (at Chain Bridge Road and the Beltway).
6:15 A.M. Update:
The inner loop lanes and shoulder have reopened at Braddock Road.
And the disabled vehicle on eastbound I-66 has also been cleared from the shoulder.
