The Washington Area Bicyclist Association is holding its first Women’s Cycling Forum Monday night at the West End Public Library.
The association says on its Web site that “there is a significant gender gap in bicycling,” with men being three times more likely to ride.
The event is described as a “roundtable discussion” with women from many walks of life who have an interest in cycling. The public can observe the discussion.
The forum is from 6 to 8 p.m. in the large conference room at the library, 1101 24th Street NW.
