Good morning, commuters.

An accident on westbound I-66 at Sycamore Street is blocking all lanes and both of the shoulders. Westbound I-66 is very backed up at this spot, so try to avoid it if you can. There is a detour from I-66 West onto Glebe Road; turn left onto Fairfax Drive, right onto Washington Boulevard and get back onto I-66 West.

We’ll be keeping tabs on the commute all morning, rounding up any headaches, issues or problems we hear about. Let us know anything you see out there — tell us in the comments below or via Twitter (@DrGridlock).
