An accident involving a tractor trailer on Branch Avenue at Allentown Road is blocking southbound Branch Avenue. Avoid the immediate area and expect delays.

8:25 A.M. Update:

An accident at 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Southeast Washington isn’t blocking any lanes, but traffic is severely slowed, according to D.C. police. Avoid the area.

An accident on 4th and I (Eye) streets in Southwest is blocking westbound I Street righ tnow.

8:10 A.M. Update:

I-66 West is pretty snarled inside the Beltway, with delays stretching back to Rosslyn. There’s an accident on the shoulder at Sycamore Street.

The disabled vehicle on I-270 South before Falls Road has been cleared.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Georgia Avenue could cause problems there.

7:50 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-270 South is blocking one lane before Falls Road.

7:45 A.M. Update:

There’s an accident in the 100 block of Lousiana Avenue NW, but i isn’t blocking or slowing traffic.

A D.C. Circulator bus has been involved in an accident at 8th and M streets in Southeast. Expect delays around that area.

7:30 A.M. Update:

Traffic signals are back up at 23rd Street and Independence Avenue in Southwest Washington.

An accident at Randolph Street and Georgia Avenue NW isn’t blocking traffic, but use caution approaching that intersection.

7:10 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-295 North at the 11th Street Bridge exit is slowing traffic but not blocking any lanes right now, according to the D.C. police.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway is blocking the right shoulder at Braddock Road.

6:50 A.M. Update:

An accident on the Southeast-Southwest Freeway at the South Capitol Street exit isn’t blocking any lanes right now, but you can expect big delays in the area. Traffic was initially backed up to the 14th Street Bridge, according to police.

6:45 A.M. Update:

Traffic signals are out at 23rd Street and Independence Avenue in Southwest Washington, so use caution around that intersection.

I-95 North is badly congested approaching the Springfield Interchange.

And I-395 North is already a bit jammed up at the 14th Street Bridge.

6:30 A.M. Update:

An accident, rather than a disabled vehicle, is now blocking one of the reversible lanes on I-95 at the Farifax County Parkway. It’s unclear whether this is related to the earlier disabled vehicle or not.

— An accident at Rock Creek Church and Riggs roads in Northeast Washington is slowing traffic, though no lanes are closed right now, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

— A disabled vehicle is blocking one of the reversible lanes on I-95 at the Farifax County Parkway.
