MARC delays and issues

7:20 A.M. Update:

The southbound Penn Line track has been returned to service, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. Beginning with train 409 (6:13 a.m. departure from Penn Station), trains will be using the regular track. Trains 407 and 409 are 10 to 12 minutes late.

And Camden Line train 845 is running 15 to 17 minutes late because it’s following a freight train.

Original Post:

MARC riders: All southbound Penn Line trains are going to be 5 or 10 minutes late due to a track defect. The regular southbound track is out of service between West Baltimore and Bowie. Trains will board on the center track. But the Maryland Transit Administration asks that you remain on the southbound platform until you are directed to cross the tracks.

Additionally, Camden Line train 841 is running 8 to 10 minutes late.
