Original Post:

MARC riders are in for some headaches this morning due to two issues on the Penn Line:

— Amtrak train 151 on the Penn Line is canceled this morning due to two major service disruptions Tuesday afternoon on Amtrak’s Northeast Regional line. That train normally honors MARC tickets from Perryville (6:50 a.m.), Aberdeen (6:57 a.m.) and Edgewood (7:05 a.m.). There were major Amtrak delays on Tuesday after a person was struck and killed by an Acela train in New Jersey.

— Penn Line train 511, which departs from Perryville at 5:40 a.m. and Penn Station at 6:25 a.m., is running one car short. Expect congestion on the other cars.
