MARC train running one car short

MARC train 413 (departing from Penn Station at 6:45 a.m.) will run with one fewer car than usual this morning. Riders should expect increased potential for crowding on the remaining cars.

This is due to damage left over from an incident involving MARC train 634 on Thursday afternoon. The train, departing Union Station at 4:40 p.m., ran over a tire with a steel rim, damaging the air brake system. This caused considerable delays for MARC riders on Thursday afternoon and evening.
