Three lanes remain blocked on I-95 South at I-195 just south of Baltimore. Again, expect massive delays and use other routes (such as U.S. 1 or 295).
9:35 A.M. Update | All lanes reopen on Hayes Street NE
All lanes have reopened on 3700 Hayes Street NE, where an earlier accident involving a Metrobus closed that roadway for a stretch this morning.
9:25 A.M. Update | One lane reopens on I-95 South near Baltimore
One lane has reopened on I-95 South at I-195 just south of Baltimore, but the other lanes remain blocked and massive delays are building.
9:20 A.M. Update | I-95 South blocked near Baltimore
An accident on I-95 South at I-195 is blocking all lanes just south of Baltimore. If you’re heading to D.C., expect major delays and use U.S. 1 or 295.
9:05 A.M. Update | I-66 East lane blocked before Beltway
The disabled vehicle on I-66 East is still blocking the right lane and right shoulder at Nutley Street.
8:50 A.M. Update | 295 reopens after 11th Street Bridge
All lanes have reopened on northbound DC-295 after the 11th Street Bridge. Heavy delays remain.

MARC Penn Line train 421 is running 10 minutes late due to a mechanical issue.
8:35 A.M. Update | I-395 North a mess from interchange to 14th Street
I-395 North is snarled around the 14th Street Bridge as well as King and Duke streets. You should generally expect problems from the Springfield Interchange on up to the 14th Street Bridge.
There’s also an accident on I-395 North at Edsall Road blocking the right shoulder.
The disabled vehicle on the southbound B.W. Parkway/MD-295 at Laurel Bowie Road has been cleared and the lanes reopened there.
8:25 A.M. Update | 295 North delayed by vehicle fire
A vehicle fire on northbound DC-295 after the 11th Street Bridge is blocking the left lane and creating heavy delays.
8:05 A.M. Update | Lanes blocked on B.W. Parkway
VRE train 312 is running 20 minues late heading to Fredericksburg. The train was delayed due to equipment problems. As a result of these problems, it’s running one car short, which means there could be crowding on the remaining cars.
A disabled vehicle on the southbound B.W. Parkway/MD-295 at Laurel Bowie Road is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.
Police are responding to a report of a car fire on northbound DC-295 at Pennsylvania Avenue SE.
8 A.M. Update | One lane reopens on Hayes Street NE
One lane has reopened on 3700 Hayes Street NE, according to police.
7:45 A.M. Update | Block of Hayes Street closed in NE
The 3700 block of Hayes Street NE remains closed following the earlier bus accident.
A disabled vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue/MD 4 at Dower House Road, next to Andrews Air Force Base, is blocking one northbound lane and one of the shoulders.
7:30 A.M. Update | Another accident in NE DC
An accident at North Capitol Street and Riggs Road in Northeast is blocking the intersection and sure to snarl traffic in that area. Avoid it if you can help it.
7:25 A.M. Update | Bus accident in NE DC
An accident on the 3700 block of Hayes Street NE involving a Metrobus has closed the 3700 block of Hayes Street, according to police.
7:05 A.M. Update | I-95 North lane reopens
The vehicle fire on I-95 North before the Fairfax County Parkway/Newington has been cleared and the lanes reopened.
A disabled vehicle on I-66 East at Nutley Street is blocking the left shoulder.
6:45 A.M. Update | I-95 North lane blocked in Virginia
A vehicle fire on I-95 North before the Fairfax County Parkway/Newington is blocking the left lane and left shoulder.
6:30 A.M. Update | VRE delays
I-95 North is pretty slow approaching Woodbridge right now.
VRE train 324 is running 10 minutes behind due to equipment problems.
6:10 A.M. Update | I-95 North lanes reopen
The brush fire on I-95 North before Occoquan has been cleared and the lanes reopened.
