New Penn Line schedule

MARC riders are waking up to a different schedule on the Penn Line. The new scheduling adds additional trains during the morning and evening commutes, about 1,000 seats during both commutes and more trains to all stations between Baltimore and Washington, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.

There are eight new trains on the schedule, and rush hour trains on the line will be six or seven cars. There were previously six, eight or nine cars per train. However, there is no additional service to the north of Baltimore.

The new schedule is online here, and if you are a MARC rider make sure to check it out. There have been changes to train numbers, so make sure you double check your train number before heading out.
