Here we go again: A lane closure on New York Avenue could create delays in Northeast Washington this weekend.
Eastbound New York Avenue will be down to just one lane between Florida Avenue and Penn Street from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The westbound lanes will remain open.
The closure is part of the New York Avenue Bridge rehabilitation project. It comes two weeks after this stretch of the roadway was entirely closed for much of a Saturday.
