New York Ave. Bridge lanes closing on Saturday

Lane closures planned for New York Avenue could create some problems in Northeast Washington on Saturday morning.

New York Avenue will be down to just one lane heading in each direction between Florida Avenue and Penn Street between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m.

If you’re planning on visiting the new Union Market on Saturday morning, this might create delays near that spot until after 9 a.m.

This is the latest in a string of lane reductions and road closures occurring as part of the New York Avenue Bridge rehabilitation project.
