Public meeting on ART route changes

Arlington Transit wants input from riders on potential changes that would impact ART route 62 next year. A meeting will be held next week so residents can discuss the potential route and schedule changes with county staff.

The bus would still serve the Court House and Ballston Metro stops as well as Utah Street and Lorcom Lane. Among the proposed changes would be new stops along Wilson and Clarendon boulevards as well as at the Clarendon Metro station.

Here are the proposed ART 62 route map and proposed ART 62 schedule. Compare those to the current route map and schedule.

The meeting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the YMCA Arlington (3422 N. 13th St.). If you can’t attend the meeting, you can look at the proposed changes and submit your comments here.
