Updated, 9:27 p.m.: US Airways says its Web site and computer systems are back up.
The carrier said on Twitter that flights have been delayed and that usairways.com is performing “unreliably and in a delayed fashion.”
The Associated Press is reporting that the problems stemmed from a power outage near a data center in Phoenix. The airline wouldn’t say how many people or flights were afffected, the AP reported.
Earlier: US Airways is reporting via Twitter that a system outage is causing problems. The airline asks that customers check their flights before getting to the airport by calling 800-428-4322.
US Airways’ Web site was down shortly, but it appears to be back up.
