Streets closed near Dupont Circle [Update: Reopened]

2:45 P.M. Update:

All streets have just reopened, according to police. 

2:30 P.M. Update:

The northbound 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue NW is still closed, but all other street closures have reopened, according to police.

A stretch of Connecticut Avenue is closed near Dupont Circle due to a suspicious package dropped by a bank robber making his getaway, Peter Hermann reports over at Crime Scene.

The 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue NW is closed, as are nearby parts of Florida Avenue and 20th Street.
