Metro to host three open houses on Silver Line

With the Silver Line is scheduled to open later this year, riders may have a few questions about what this actually means for Metro.

The transit agency plans to host a trio of open houses next week in Virginia and Maryland so that people can view information, talk with Metro representatives and learn about changes to rail and bus service.

(If you want to submit a public comment about the Silver Line but can’t attend the meetings, head here.)

Tuesday, March 12 , from 5 to 8 p.m.

Faith Temple #2 Baptist Church, 211 Maryland Park Dr., Capitol Heights, Md. (This is right near the Capitol Heights Metro station.)

Thursday, March 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Reston Community Center Hunters Woods, 2310 Colts Neck Rd., Reston, Va.

Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sheraton Crystal City Hotel, 1800 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Arlington, Va.
(This is right near the Crystal City Metro station.)
