(LM Otero/AP)

4:50 p.m. Update:

American Airlines reports that as of 4:30 p.m., its systems have been fully restored. But the airline warned in a Facebook note that they expected delays and cancellations to continue for the remainder of the day.

Original Post:

American Airlines has grounded all of its flights until at least 5 p.m. due to an issue involving its reservation system:

The airline’s site says that its “reservation system is experiencing intermittent outages.” Until this is resolved, expect all American Airlines flights to stay on the ground.
