Southbound I-95 closed south of Baltimore

Update, 9:49 a.m.:

The three right lanes of southbound I-95 near Baltimore have reopened. Traffic is moving slowly and delays are ongoing.

Update, 7:36 a.m.:

The southbound lanes of I-95 south of Baltimore remain closed following this morning’s tractor-trailer crash.

Delays extend about five miles from Exit 55 to Exit 50, where traffic continues to be diverted onto Caton Avenue.

Original post, 6:21 a.m.:

All southbound lanes of I-95 approaching I-695 south of Baltimore are closed after a crash involving two tractor-trailers Thursday morning.

The lanes leaving Baltimore are blocked at Exit 50, and traffic is being diverted onto Caton Avenue.

Drivers are urged to use caution and avoid the area, if possible.
