Earlier delays on Metro’s Orange and Blue lines

Metro said normal service has resumed on its Blue and Orange lines after an earlier problem.

Metro said trains are no longer sharing a track on the Blue and Orange lines between Federal Center and Eastern Market after an earlier incident. But delays continue in both directions.

Metro said Thursday morning there are delays in both directions of the Blue and Orange lines.

Trains are sharing a track between Federal Center and Eastern Market stations.

There is a track problem outside of the Capitol South station.

Riders should expect delays.
