Delays on Metro’s Red Line resolved

Metro said the earlier situation at the Rhode Island Avenue stop has been resolved. Normal service has resumed.

Metro said riders on the Red Line should expect delays to Shady Grove because of a signal malfunction outside of the Rhode Island Avenue stop.

Metro said normal service has resumed at Georgia Avenue after an earlier incident.

Metro said riders should expect delays Tuesday morning because of a disabled train at the Georgia Avenue stop.

The delays are between Huntington and Branch Avenue on the Green and Yellow lines.

Other than this problem, Metro has not reported any operational problems on its rail lines or bus routes as a result of the expected snowfall at this point.
