Earlier delays on Metro’s Red and Orange lines

Metro said normal service is back on its Orange Line at the West Falls Church stop after an earlier issue.

Riders on Metro’s Orange Line should expect delays Friday morning in the direction of New Carrollton.

The problem is from a signal at the West Falls Church stop.

Metro riders on the busy Red Line should expect some delays Friday morning.

The delays — in the direction of Shady Grove — are due to an earlier train malfunction at the Takoma station.
