Problem resolved on Metro’s Red Line, delays on Blue Line

Metro said normal service has resumed at Rosslyn after an earlier incident involving a train malfunction.

There are delays on the Blue Line due to an earlier train malfunction at Rosslyn.

Metro said normal service has resumed on its Red Line after earlier delays.

Trains are no longer sharing a track on the Red Line between Silver Spring and Fort Totten.

There was an earlier problem with a track outside the Takoma stop.

But officials warned that delays still could continue.

Riders on Metro’s busy Red Line should expect delays Thursday morning.

Trains are sharing a track between the Silver Spring and Fort Totten stations because of a track problem outside the Takoma stop.

Metro said riders should expect delays in both directions.
