No. 12 Baylor debuted a new neon green look, complete with green socks and shoelaces, before it took the floor for its Big 12 quarterfinal matchup with Kansas State on Friday in Kansas City.

Well actually, according to Adidas, these new adiZero uniforms are “lime green.” Regardless, they’re hard to miss if you happen to flip on the television this afternoon and are shocked when the camera pans from the perpetual grimace of Kansas State Coach Frank Martin to a radioactive-looking Perry Jones III.

Dennis Dodd of tweeted this photo out of the uniforms. What do you think? Should the Bears wear these things throughout the tournament? Or should they put them into hibernation after Thursday’s game?

Here’s a sampling of reaction around the Twitter-verse:

Dear Baylor: When adidas comes to you and says “what about neon green unis?” you should just say no. No, no, no, no, no.

You have to wonder if the jersey contract for Baylor was worth the radiation their players are suffering exposure to.
