This can mean only one thing, right? The Eagles are going to trade him to the Cardinals, thereby depriving the Washington Redskins of one trade partner for quarterback Donovan McNabb.

Unless, of course, it doesn’t mean that at all. Thank you, lockout, for not ending the way you should have Thursday and moving closer to replacing speculation with real moves.

Kolb was asked about the Grand Canyon State on the Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday.

“Arizona would be a great place,” Kolb, displaced by Michael Vick in Philly, said. “I've obviously envisioned myself there.”

Arizona Coach Ken Whisenhunt said there are no untouchables on the roster — and that includes corner back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. But Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that that won’t cut it. The Eagles would want a high 2012 draft pick as well.

So keep searching for a good home for McNabb.
