Atlanta wide receiver Roddy White said he’d lost respect for Suh and Avril. “Do I need Rodney White’s respect? No. Leave it at that,” Suh said via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

He did indeed call White “Rodney” and added that he and Avril could hardly have taunted Ryan, who was uninjured although his leg was bent in Gumby-esque fashion, because Ryan was surrounded by medical staff. Indeed, Ryan said he heard none of the trash talk.

“I’m not even near their quarterback so how am I going to trash talk somebody that has a medical staff that’s all around him?” Suh said.

Ryan was hurt when his offensive lineman Will Svitek stepped on his foot and Suh said he saw some poetic justice there, given the way he feels the Falcons play.

“To me it’s karma,” Suh said. “For all the bad stuff they’ve done in the past, their offensive lineman hurt their own quarterback. So I’ll leave it at that.”
