NFL live: Albert Haynesworth traded; Reggie Bush trade completed

The NFL drama continued early this morning with the Washington Redskins’ trade of Albert Haynesworth to the New England Patriots.

Even earlier this morning, the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins completed the framework for a trade involving running back Reggie Bush. It was finished when Bush agreed to terms on a two-year deal mid-morning.

Meanwhile, players will continue to report for duty today, with some notable absences that may include DeSean Jackson and Kevin Kolb — who’s awaiting a trade — in Philadelphia.

Keep up with the wheeling and dealing on Twitter or here. And keep checking The Early Lead for more detailed posts.
