On a visit to Washington, D.C. earlier this week, NASCAR driver Kurt Busch talked to The Post’s auto-racing writer Tarik El-Bashir about a variety of subjects, including his rivalry with his brother, Kyle, and Jimmie Johnson, his future in the sport at the age of 32 and his fond memories of his first car.

Busch, who visited Bethesda Naval Hospital and Quantico, races in Texas this weekend and is in fourth place in the Sprint Cup standings. He trails leader Kyle Busch by 14 points and Johnson (third place) by 12.
