The Pacific-10 conference will launch its own television network in 2012 after working out a 12-year deal reportedly worth nearly $3 billion with ESPN and Fox.

A total of 44 football games and 68 men’s basketball games per season will be televised by ESPN and Fox networks, and the two networks will alternate coverage of the conference's championship football game and the basketball tournament.

The new network, to be named the Pac-12 Network after the conference expands by two teams with this year’s addition of Utah and Colorado, will show college football and basketball games not licensed to ESPN and Fox along with the conference’s non-revenue sports.
