Perhaps that’s a bit too much enthusiasm. The game itself hardly qualifies as destination TV viewing, but for players, making the team is an honor — whether they play in it or not.

Players chosen for the teams in voting by fans, players and coaches will be announced in at 7 p.m. EST on the NFL Network. The game is Jan. 29, the Sunday before the Super Bowl.

No doubt there will be snubs and feel-good stories, but the biggest question, the greatest drama (if that word can be used in the same breath as “Pro Bowl”) surrounds Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, who finished third in fan balloting behind Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger. Fan voting closed before Tebow’s return to earth in his last two games, but the Broncos can clinch a division title with a victory this weekend.

Will Tebow be on the AFC roster? Should he be on the roster as anything other than a substite for a player unwilling/unable to play?
