Tim Tebow, AFC quarterback in the Pro Bowl?
Well, this might be one way to increase viewership for the Jan. 29 NFL all-star game.
The Certified NFL Phenomenon finished third in fan voting for AFC quarterback — a distant third to Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger, but still ... Neither Brady nor Roethlisberger is likely to play, whether the reason is because they’re otherwise occupied with details of a trip to Indianapolis or recovering from “injury.”
Tebow can't make plans just yet.
Fan balloting ended Monday night, but coaches and players now cast their votes ahead of the announcement of the team Dec. 27. Another quarterback, perhaps Ryan Fitzpatrick, could move ahead of Tebow, who’d have to be chosen for the team if others (see above) dropped out.
