“It definitely wasn’t on purpose,” Polamalu said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, which reported the fine. “I’ve never intentionally tried to horse collar anybody.”

Fines are not announced and the Tribune-Review cited a league source for the Polamalu fine. Greg Aiello, NFL spokesman, tweeted that the schedule for fines is public and added: “Minimum fine for horse collar tackle is $15K; $30K for 2nd offense..could b more if flagrant.”
