A Russian jet crashed outside the city of Yaroslavl on Wednesday, killing at least 43 people and shaking the international hockey community to the core.

The plane was transporting the Kontinental Hockey League’s Lokomotiv, a team based in Yaroslavl and headed to Minsk, Belarus, for its opening game of the season.

Of the 37 passengers and eight crew members on board the Yak-42, only Russian player Alexander Galimov and one crewmember survived the crash, according to officials.

This amateur video provided by CBS News shows rescue teams arriving on the scene and beginning the search for survivors at the site of the crash, about 150 miles northeast of Moscow.
