He appeared in the Denver Broncos’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals — at wide receiver.

Although Coach John Fox said today that Tebow graded out at 100 in his snaps, he was used as a decoy receiver as the team was forced to think outside the box with injuries to Eddie Royal, Brandon Lloyd, Eric Decker and Matt Willis. No chance, though, Tebow was going to replace Kyle Orton.

“For a while there, I thought we were going to line up in a three-quarterback, two-receiver set,”Orton said. “I've never seen anything like it, personnel-wise.”
